RBFCU Promotes Coon to Director of Business Development

LIVE OAK, Texas (March 28, 2016) — Marisa Coon was recently named director of business development for the Austin region for Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU). Coon joined the credit union in 2007 and most recently served as a business development officer.

In her new position, Coon will expand her responsibilities to oversee all business development functions in the Austin region, including identifying and establishing cooperative relationships to increase market share, training and developing staff, and representing the credit union at community, marketing and professional events.

“Marisa's extensive knowledge and background in establishing partnerships has been invaluable to the ever-growing presence of RBFCU in the greater Austin area,” said Mary O'Rourke, RBFCU chief of staff. “Her experience has prepared her for this new position and will help her effectively guide our teams to achieve success in this market.”

In addition to her work at the credit union, Coon also serves as the vice president of marketing for the Hays County Independent School District Education Foundation, as a member of the Buda and Kyle Chambers of Commerce, Austin Independent School District Communities in School, Capital Idea and as a volunteer with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Coon also holds a bachelor's degree from St. Edward's University.
