System and Browser Requirements

Systems are periodically updated to meet new technology requirements and to fix security concerns. Keeping your preferred browser and mobile device up-to-date helps ensure that you’re secure when using, Online Banking and the RBFCU Mobile app. It also helps ensure that all the features and functions on RBFCU’s digital banking platforms operate properly on your device.

RBFCU Mobile App

The RBFCU Mobile app requires the latest operating systems (OS) for security updates. For full app functionality, please ensure your device is running the latest software, detailed in the table below:

Help Protect Your Accounts

  • RBFCU will never initiate a phone call, email or text message to anyone — members or non-members — asking for your sign-in information, including usernames, passwords, security questions and one-time passcodes, or other personal information, like account or Social Security numbers. If you receive a suspicious phone call, email or text message, hang up, do not respond to the message, do not click any links, and do not open any attachments. Forward any suspicious emails and text message screenshots to, then delete the message. If you believe your account, username or password has been compromised, you should immediately contact RBFCU at 210-945-3300 for assistance.
  • Periodically review your contact information within Online Banking to make sure RBFCU can reach you if we detect potential fraud on your accounts. In the RBFCU Mobile app, select the “My Profile” icon, then “Profile Settings,” then “Contact Settings.”
  • Change your Online Banking password every 90 days. For tips on creating a secure password, visit our Security & Fraud Center.
  • Enable extra security by using a one-time passcode (OTP) each time you sign in to your Online Banking account. To enable OTP in the RBFCU Mobile app, select the “My Profile” icon, then “Profile Settings,” then “Security Center,” then “One-Time Passcode” and follow the instructions.
  • Set up customizable Alerts to keep track of your accounts and transactions by text and/or email.

RBFCU does not charge a fee for the RBFCU Mobile app, but you may be charged for data by your mobile wireless provider.

Enrolling in Alerts is free, but you may be charged for text messages by your mobile wireless provider. Alerts are a supplemental service and are not a replacement for responsible account review and management. You are responsible for any fees or charges incurred on your account whether you receive your Alerts or not.
