Move Money FAQs
Why can't I enter an account number to transfer money?
Move Money allows you to sync your contacts from your phone for seamless transactions without the need for an account number. A member’s phone number and/or email is linked to their profile, which will deposit the funds directly into the corresponding RBFCU account.
Where is my 'Favorites' list?
Since Move Money syncs to your contacts rather than requiring an account number, you can easily search for the person you would like to send money to. Previously, Favorites were needed to avoid having to remember individual account numbers.
Why did a transfer automatically go into account xxxx?
Default accounts are picked based on the member’s most used account. We will soon be developing an enhancement where the member can pick the account in which they wish to receive incoming transfers. For now, if the default account is not the account they want transfers to be sent to, they should accept the funds from the sender, then perform a transfer using the “Send Money to Myself” option.
How long do I have to accept an incoming transfer?
You only need to accept the first incoming transfer to acknowledge the funds will be received to the default account. You then have 2 days to accept the transfer before the request will expire. After the first text is replied to, the member will receive text alerts notifying them of the transfer but will not have to perform any action to receive the funds.
I synced my contacts to the RBFCU Mobile app and I want to remove them. How can I remove my contacts?
Go to your phone settings > Privacy > Contacts and turn off the contacts for the RBFCU Mobile app.
How much am I spending?
Should I pay off debt or invest in savings?
How long will it take to pay off my credit card balance?
How long will it take to reach my savings goal?
