LIVE OAK, Texas (June 23, 2026) — RBFCU has elevated Amy Davis to the role of Senior Vice President-General Counsel.

Davis brings a total of 16 years of legal experience to RBFCU, where she has spent nearly 10 years helping the credit union navigate increasingly complex issues and transactions including risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, mergers, and many others.

She has developed strong relationships with leaders across the credit union and the board of directors, as well as outside legal counsel and general counsels at other credit unions.

Executive Vice President-Chief Risk Officer Berenice Villarreal said Davis has a unique ability to work collaboratively with all personalities. She embodies RBFCU’s values and culture and has high expectations for her team.

“As a management team, we trust and increasingly rely on Amy’s legal judgment, critical and strategic mindset as well as her negotiation skills,” Villarreal said. “Amy is able to navigate high-stress situations and bring a balanced, level-headed approach to legal and business discussions. Her commitment and loyalty to the credit union is remarkable as she juggles increasing responsibilities.”

Davis, a graduate of UT School of Law, knows the Texas legal landscape, having served as an attorney at multiple law firms in Dallas and San Antonio prior to coming to RBFCU. She’s been credited for work to move RBFCU toward regulatory approval as the continuing credit union in the True Sky merger, CUSO transactions and a wide variety of litigation matters.

Additionally, Davis serves on the board of directors at the San Antonio-based Endeavors, a nonprofit that serves populations in crisis including veteran and military families, immigrant support and shelter services and disaster relief.
