RBFCU Delivers Critical Support to Families in Need with $100,000 Donation
Donation is Part of Credit Union’s Continued Support for Area Food Banks
LIVE OAK, Texas (Dec. 16, 2025) — Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) proudly announced a total donation of $100,000 to support food banks statewide, underscoring its commitment to communities during the recent government shutdown and holiday season. Throughout November and December, RBFCU distributed $25,000 each to the Coastal Bend Food Bank, San Antonio Food Bank, North Texas Food Bank and Central Texas Food Bank, helping families facing hardship during this critical period.
“RBFCU stands with our communities, especially in times of uncertainty,” said RBFCU President and CEO Mark Sekula. “Credit unions exist to serve people, and our pledge is a testament to our dedication. By extending support to food banks across Texas, we ensure that families have access to essential resources when they need them most.”
This latest initiative builds on RBFCU’s ongoing work with the San Antonio Food Bank, including recent collaborations during KSAT Community’s Hunger Action Month, where nearly 2,000 lbs. of food were collected by RBFCU branches. The credit union’s continued support goes beyond one-time gifts, reflecting a lasting commitment to fighting hunger and strengthening Texas communities.
