RBFCU Opens 64th Branch in The Colony

Newest branch provides even more options to growing membership in North Texas

LIVE OAK, Texas (Oct. 14, 2025) — Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) has continued its trend of growth and expanded service to members in North Texas with the opening of the newest branch in The Colony.

The latest location is the ninth branch in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, and the 64th in the credit union’s growing network of branches throughout Texas.

RBFCU leadership joined local elected officials, businesses leaders and community partners to celebrate the branch’s official opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday. “RBFCU’s ongoing growth in North Texas is a testament to our commitment to meet our members where they’re at,” said RBFCU CEO and President Mark Sekula. “We are excited to be a partner in this community and can’t wait to show The Colony how we go beyond banking with an unwavering commitment to our mission of improving our members’ economic well-being and quality of life. We bring our ‘people helping people’ culture and the credit union advantage to the forefront of our operations at RBFCU. That typically means lower fees, higher rates of return on deposits and competitive loan rates compared to other financial institutions.”

The first RBFCU branch in North Texas opened in Plano in 2014. At the time, RBFCU served 6,000 members in the area. Since then, RBFCU has established eight additional branches in the region and grown to more than 76,000 members in the area, contributing to RBFCU’s total of more than 1.2 million members.

RBFCU focuses on serving its members and reinvesting in their communities, setting our credit union apart. The organization's robust digital products, such as Online Banking and the highly rated RBFCU Mobile® app, reflect the financial institution's dedication to providing a unique and convenient experience.
