RBFCU Breaks Ground on 66th Branch in Mesquite

LIVE OAK, Texas (April 22, 2026) — Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) broke ground on its 66th branch in Mesquite, Texas, on Wednesday, bringing the total number of branches serving North Texas members to 10.

RBFCU’s continued growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth region showcases its dedication to serving members throughout the state with a mission to improve our members’ economic well-being and quality of life.

RBFCU leadership joined local elected officials, businesses leaders and community partners to celebrate the start of construction.

“Our strong presence in North Texas is a testament to our commitment to meet our members where they’re at,” said RBFCU CEO and President Mark Sekula. “We are excited to be a partner in this community and can’t wait to show Mesquite how we go beyond banking with an unwavering commitment to serving as a trusted financial partner and pillar of community engagement and support.”

RBFCU brings a ‘people helping people’ culture and the credit union advantage to the forefront of operations. That typically means lower fees, higher rates of return on deposits and competitive loan rates compared to other financial institutions.

The first RBFCU branch in North Texas opened in Plano in 2014. At the time, RBFCU served about 6,000 members in the area. Since then, RBFCU has established eight additional branches in the region and grown to more than 73,000 members in the area, contributing to RBFCU’s total of more than 1.1 million members.
