Credit Union Lauded by Vendors, Analysts, Members

LIVE OAK, Texas – When it comes to being the best, expectations from a trifecta of audiences need to be met. At Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union, members and business partners are more than satisfied with the credit union's service, and independent analysts concur, offering their own praise in the form of high ratings.

RBFCU has recently been recognized by several independent financial analysts for strong numbers. For example, IDC Financial Publishing recently recognized RBFCU with its 53rd consecutive "Superior" rating. RBFCU has been consistently recognized in these rankings and is the top-rated credit union in Texas, according to IDC. Weiss Ratings also ranked RBFCU as one of the strongest credit unions nationwide, one of only nine credit unions in the state of Texas and 31 nationwide to receive an A+ rating.

Business partners rank RBFCU as high-performing as well. This year, RBFCU received its fourth consecutive Crystal Performance Award from Raddon Financial Group. RBFCU received this commendation based on a balanced scorecard of growth, efficiency, income and margin management. The credit union was among Raddon's top ten high-performers nationwide.

Members form the final component of RBFCU's success. At a time when consumers are increasingly conscious of making good financial decisions, membership numbers at RBFCU continue to increase. During October 2011, RBFCU membership grew by 26 percent over the previous year's totals, credited in part to a promotion rewarding members for using their debit cards.

Company leaders credit this success to the value and stability RBFCU provides. "Gains in membership and assets, as well as strong ratings and recognitions, point to one thing – RBFCU's dedication to providing service that safeguards members' interests and improve their quality of life," said Sonya McDonald, senior vice president of market development. "We are able to provide members with low rates and valuable rewards because we are diligent in monitoring our resources and maintaining the strength and stability of our institution."
