Forbes Awards RBFCU with High Rankings

LIVE OAK, Texas (July 15, 2019) — The website of Forbes business magazine has recognized RBFCU in two important categories. Forbes has ranked RBFCU as one of the top credit unions in Texas and also as one of America’s Best Employers.

Forbes partnered with the market research firm Statista on both rankings. For the America’s Best Employer ranking, 80,000 people provided anonymous surveys after being asked to rank how likely they would be to recommend their employer to others.

In ranking RBFCU as a Top 5 Credit Union in Texas, a state-by-state ranking was compiled after a survey of more than 25,000 people was used to gauge recommendations and satisfaction on their financial dealings. This included the categories of trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice (combining banks and credit unions, Forbes announced that only 3.1 percent of the total U.S. financial institutions qualified for the state-by-state rankings).

Forbes noted that when it comes to satisfaction ratings “banks can’t touch credit unions.” On a scale of 1-5, banks averaged 4.2 compared to credit unions at a 4.5 average.
