RBFCU Celebrates MLK Jr. Day with Generous Donations
LIVE OAK, Texas (Jan. 16, 2025) — In honor of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the work that continues to drive and inspire our commitment to diversity, RBFCU’s Diversity Advisory Council identified organizations that can benefit from our support.
Our Business Development Team helped deliver $1,000 checks to the NAACP chapters in Corpus Christi and Garland. In Austin, the Central Texas Food Bank — an MLK Jr. Day sponsor — received a donation as well.
These donations will help support their efforts in promoting civil rights, educational opportunities and economic advancement within their communities, furthering Dr. King's vision of equality and justice.
