Give Backs Increase in 2019 Through RBFCU Mastercard Rewards

LIVE OAK, Texas (Nov. 1, 2019) — Members of Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) continue to realize a great benefit with the RBFCU CashBack Rewards Mastercard^® credit card. The credit union is announcing that the cash-back program is giving more than $9.2 million to members who used the card during the past year.

“We always enjoy making this announcement so close to the holidays,” RBFCU Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Sonya McDonald said. “It’s a great way for us to say ‘thank you’ to our members. This shows that the addition of the 2% cash-back rewards from just two years ago is growing and is a quite popular offering in a very competitive landscape for rewards credit cards.”

Last year, RBFCU paid more than $6.8 million through this program.

In February, RBFCU announced that more than $14 million was given back to members through the Freedom Debit Card. It’s the first time that both of RBFCU’s cash-back programs have combined to give back more than $20 million in the same year.

This also puts the CashBack Rewards Mastercard give backs at more than $60 million since this payment card feature was established at RBFCU in 1994.
