Credit Union News

With RBFCU, making account transfers is now easier than ever. Members no longer have to worry about filling out a transfer slip or stopping by a branch to move funds between accounts. RBFCU now offers Account-to-Account Transfers between members.

If you have multiple RBFCU accounts, you're probably familiar with the transfer option in NetBranch Online. You may use it to build savings for special purchases or vacations, or to put away money for a child or relative. With the new Account-to-Account Transfer enhancements, you can transfer money to fellow RBFCU accountholders as well.

Using the service, members can transfer funds from accounts they own to other accounts where they are not listed as an owner. Additional security methods are in place to ensure that transfers are directed to the appropriate account. If you have an account that you regularly transfer to, you can set it up as a favorite to make your transactions even more convenient.

This option is especially helpful for parents of college students. You won't have to worry about writing a check or making sure they receive a monthly allowance. With the new transfer tool, they'll have the autonomy and independence of their own account, while you'll have the convenience of conducting transfers from your home computer.

Because of this additional service, you may notice a slight alteration on the "Transfers" page of your NetBranch account.
