RBFCU Named No. 1 Credit Union in Texas

Forbes list of 'America's Best Credit Unions in Each State' highlights RBFCU

LIVE OAK, Texas (July 12, 2021) — RBFCU has been nationally recognized by Forbes as the No. 1 credit union in Texas. This marks the third year in a row that Forbes has ranked RBFCU among the best credit unions in the state.

Out of more than 5,000 credit unions in America, only 3.6% of them made Forbes’ list in 2021. This year RBFCU was ranked ahead of University Federal Credit Union, EECU, A+ Federal Credit Union and Security Service Federal Credit Union.

Rankings were determined by Statista, a third-party vendor, who surveyed more than 25,000 credit union customers across the nation. Credit unions were scored on overall recommendations, satisfaction, trust, services and more.

“It is extremely rewarding to know that our members recognize our commitment to excellence, and that our members' relationship with us resonates to the point that it's noticed by a publication like Forbes,” RBFCU President and CEO Christopher O’Connor said. “Improving members’ economic well-being and quality of life has been our priority since day one.”

Forbes noted that the not-for-profit model of credit unions puts members first, resulting in higher satisfaction scores.
