RBFCU Members Receive Big Cash Back with Mastercard Rewards
LIVE OAK, Texas (Nov. 14, 2018) — Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) continues to give back, spreading cheer just in time for the holiday season. Thanks to its credit card rewards, RBFCU gave back more than $6.8 million in cash to its members.
All year, members have earned cash-back rewards on purchases made using their RBFCU rewards Mastercard® credit cards, and now it’s paying off. Since the reward cards’ inception in 1994, RBFCU has given more than $54 million back to members in cash-back rebates. In July 2017, members started earning 2% cash back on their credit card purchases, putting more cash back in their pockets than ever before.
“After last year’s addition of our 2% cash-back program, we’re especially excited for this year’s credit card rewards disbursement,” said Mary O'Rourke, chief of staff for RBFCU. “Our members trust us with their financial needs, and we’re happy to show our appreciation for their loyalty.”
The Mastercard credit card rewards program is just one facet of RBFCU's member giveback offerings. In February, the credit union rewarded its members with more than $12.9 million in cash back for using its debit card. Since the debit card program was launched in 2007, members have received more than $70 million in rewards, in addition to those disbursed through the Mastercard program.
