RBFCU is Tops Among Business Journal’s ‘Best Places to Work’
LIVE OAK, Texas (July 19, 2019) — Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union’s annual status as a great place for employees took another step by being named No. 1 among “Best Places to Work” by the San Antonio Business Journal.
Also this year, the Austin Business Journal named RBFCU among the “Best Places to Work.” Last year, RBFCU was listed as No. 2 “Top Workplace” by the San Antonio Express-News for the second consecutive year.
“We see this honor as extremely significant, because our mission is fulfilled when our employees are happy and productive,” RBFCU President and Chief Executive Officer Christopher W. O’Connor said. “All of us at the credit union strive to improve our members’ economic well-being and quality of life. Clearly, RBFCU employees take great satisfaction in the challenge.”
The “Best Places to Work” program generates its results from employee responses gathered by a third-party survey conducted earlier in the spring. The survey requested honest feedback and was designed to measure employee engagement within the participating companies.
Overall, 75 local companies were included in the “Best Places to Work” list. RBFCU checked in as No. 1 as an “Extra Large Employer.”
“We meet a standard with this recognition,” Mr. O’Connor said. “The community views RBFCU as a premier employer, where employees are proud to make a difference in the financial lives of our members. We’re very thankful for this.”
