Big Impact Made by RBFCU at Buc Days in Corpus!
LIVE OAK, Texas (May 21, 2024) — Competitors in the recent RBFCU Buc Days 5K got their medals, and our Region 8 employees went further by rewarding the Corpus Christi community with great spirit during the important annual civic event.
The city turns out for Buc Days, and they saw how our team works. This event raises funds for scholarships awarded to high school students. When that's combined with health and wellness activities, RBFCU showed at Buc Days how we care for the betterment of the community.
SVP-San Antonio/Corpus Christi Operations Sarah O’Brien presented medals to the top finishers in the 5K that RBFCU served as title sponsor. There were plenty of snacks and water to be passed along to the participants, so Sarah was joined in helping at the event by RVP Michelle Mendez and several of the region’s employees (plus employees from other regions) including Sarai Guzman, Melissa Longoria, Johnny Martinez, Steve Klein, Erika Benavides, Dora Carden, Julissa Cevallos, Glenn Errhalt, Briana Hutson, Amanda Marroquin, Rudy Mata, Brenda Mayorga and Shana Quiroz.
