Member Advisory: Possible Email Phishing Attempt

LIVE OAK, Texas (Dec. 3, 2018) — RBFCU has been made aware of a possible email phishing campaign against our members. Please be vigilant of any communications that may appear to be suspicious in nature and do not click any links. Members should contact Member Services if you feel your accounts have been compromised.

To reach RBFCU Member Services, please call 1-800-580-3300 or email memberservices@rbfcu.org. Also, you can ask for the Fraud Department or email fraud@rbfcu.org. For your protection, never provide any personal account information via email. To contact RBFCU regarding your accounts, always sign in to your online banking account and send a secure message.

Please take notice of any links that the email will request you to click. Phishing emails may originate from a sender address that appears similar to rbfcu.org, or another address that appears to be from a reputable company, institution or charity.

Remember, RBFCU will not communicate with you via unsolicited telephone calls or emails and request your PIN or other identifying information associated with your account.

In the case that you believe you have entered or supplied information that was requested through an email you now have been informed is suspicious, contact RBFCU immediately.
