Matthews Promoted to Vice President of Operations
LIVE OAK, Texas (March 23, 2016) — Mark Matthews was recently named vice president of operations for RBFCU's Austin and Dallas regions. Matthews joined the credit union in 2010 and most recently served as the assistant vice president of business development.
In his new position, Matthews will oversee all areas of operations in the Austin and Dallas markets, including staffing and employee relations, business development, marketing and lending programs, and other efforts to increase overall market share and brand awareness. Additionally, he will forecast and anticipate business needs, identify market opportunities and serve as a community and political liaison.
“For the last six years, Mark has laid the groundwork in Austin establishing community partnerships and gaining a vast knowledge of the market,” said Mark Sekula, chief operating officer for RBFCU. “This new position will allow him to apply his experience and enthusiasm in building relationships and a lasting presence in the Dallas market as well.”
In addition to his position with RBFCU, Matthews serves on the board of the Round Rock Independent School District and represents the credit union as part of Opportunity Austin.
