Keep changing their counter offer and was ok with it!
Heard RBFCU was a great place to get an auto loan and apparently has changed since my buddy got it 3yrs ago. Application and approval was fast and quick but after that it all went downhill.
I was in a remote area and cell signal was weak. I got approved with everthing I asked for then the counter offering began. Everytime I gave more info they needed they kept changing their counter offer higher and higher. Each customer service rep I spoke to in a 6 hour period changed the "approved offer" from what it was originally "approved" for. Not that it doesn't happen but if RBFCU is going to make mileage and distance of vehicle that big of a deal than it should be "*" in the loan application.
Disappointed and frustrated!!! Heard such good things about this place. Guess all things change

I got my paper work from the dealer who recommend me to finance thru RBFCU were I bank. It was almost closing time for the branch and in 45 minutes all papers were signed and finished. They stay after closing time to finish my loan. The new truck was mine.

Product is great and available to RBFCU customers at any branch office or online. Rates are very competitive, if not the lowest, and make a huge difference. The process is very simple, flexible, and can be done in no more than an hour or so. Very innovative and professional way of doing business.

Awful Customer Service
I have called to several branches over the past two weeks concerning my auto loan and not one person has picked up the phone. One branch I go straight to voicemail ever time, one branch it rings and rings and after 10 minutes I finally hung up, and one branch the automated message says they will return my call within 15 minutes but have never received a call back. Great rates but would recommend not using RBFCU for their terrible customer service.

Loan Process is not very efficient
We just got our 4th auto loan with R/B. We have always had great service and interest rate. This time, however, we were at the branch office for over 3 hours and it was very frustrating. I prefer to have the loan officers at the branches as they use to be. The computer system seems to be cumbersome and slow, very slow. Just to leave feedback to let R/B know that cost savings measures are not always the best way to conduct customer service.

customer service is a nightmare
Great bank but customer service is a nightmare, it is just very hard to get ahold of customer service representative. During my auto loan experience is was very frustrating. I would call to speak with someone then the automated message had someone call me back 25 minutes later, just to tell me they would transfer me, then when I was transfered another automated message told me I would get a call back in 20 minutes. I finally got a call back and the gentleman that I was speaking to was disconnected , he never called back either. So there I went again through this whole process. About 2 hours later I finally get all my questions answered and i also buy gap insurance, then I asked about auto insurance, the gentleman on the line told me he would have someone call me back about auto insurance. Till this day I have not had a returned phone call and nor have I called back because its takes so long to speak with someone. This system is horrible for the people who don't have a lot of time on their hands. Good bank but customer service is disappointing.
