LIVE OAK, Texas — According to a recent survey conducted by the Austin American-Statesman and the Top Workplaces company, Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union has been recognized among the top workplaces in the greater Austin area. RBFCU landed the top recognition among credit unions in the region, and was the fourth workplace overall in the midsize category.

The credit union was selected for the award based on survey responses from RBFCU employees. In true credit union fashion, several employees referenced the “people helping people” mantra as part of their reason for enjoying their job and their workplace, stating that they enjoyed “the opportunity to help members with their financial life and building partnerships with school districts, business and neighborhood associations” and “helping people better their financial future.”

While our credit union has grown its overall presence in the Austin area, expanding to include 13 branches and a regional headquarters location, our goals haven't changed. We still focus on helping members, serving them and giving them opportunities to create a better life and financial future. “With the emphasis on growth in the Austin community, we've still managed to maintain a strong focus on our mission and purpose – helping members to save time, save money and earn money,” said Mary O'Rourke, senior vice president of human resources at RBFCU. “We're glad we can provide our employees an outstanding workplace environment so they in turn can offer exemplary service to members.”

RBFCU has been recognized among the best workplaces by many different publications, including the San Antonio Express-News' Top Workplaces, the San Antonio Business Journal's Best Places to Work and the Texas Monthly Best Companies to Work for.
