RBFCU OPENS AUSTIN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE CENTER

LIVE OAK, Texas – The fastest-growing credit union in Austin has solidified its commitment to the Capitol City and the surrounding communities. RBFCU has opened a new administrative service center in the northwest Austin area, its first regional headquarters location.

“By adding this location, we're showing our commitment to the Austin area,” said Sonya McDonald, senior vice president of planning and market development for RBFCU. “We've built a strong network of branches here, and we want to provide the infrastructure to support these branches and to create local jobs.”

The Austin administrative service center currently houses about 50 employees in departments including member service, consumer lending, mortgage lending and business development. However, credit union leaders anticipate more future growth in the area, including the addition of several new branches throughout the greater Austin area.

“With the membership boom we've experienced in the Austin area, we're dedicated to providing our ever-growing membership with convenient service options that meet their needs,” McDonald said. “Whether we're serving members from one of our Austin branches, providing local member service representatives to answer their phone calls or offering convenient mobile access so they can interact where ever they are, we're making sure our members have plenty of opportunities to save time, save money and earn money.”

The credit union recently completed construction of an addition to its San Antonio administrative service center as well, more than doubling the space available to serve members from its corporate campus.
