RBFCU HONORED AS TOP WORKPLACE IN SAN ANTONIO

CEO Randy M. Smith Recognized as Leader with Vision

LIVE OAK, Texas — Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union was recently recognized as one of the Top Workplaces in San Antonio, according to a survey facilitated by Workplace Dynamics and the San Antonio Express-News.

RBFC was one of almost 700 San Antonio companies nominated for the award. The survey polled the credit union's more than 1,200 employees, asking them questions about benefits, training, work-life flexibility and leadership. As a result, RBFCU ranked third among large employers, companies with more than 500 employees.

The credit union's CEO was selected for special recognition as well, based on employees' confirmation that they “have confidence in the leader of [their] company.” According to employee responses, Smith was ranked highest in the San Antonio area regarding having “a clear vision of where the organization needs to go in order to continue to provide for the ever-changing financial environment.”

According to credit union leadership, RBFCU's focus on service impacts interactions with both members and employees. “When our members and our employees are pleased with us, we know we're doing the right thing,” said Sonya McDonald, senior vice president of planning and market development for RBFCU. “Our dedication to serving people well and helping our members save time, save money and earn money is evident in the honors we've received from our employees and throughout our service area.”

The credit union has received multiple recognitions this year for providing a superior workplace, as well as offering outstanding service to members. Earlier this year, RBFCU was also recognized as one of the Texas Monthly Best Companies to Work For in Texas for the fourth consecutive year.
