LIVE OAK, Texas – Christopher W. O'Connor has been appointed to the Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. Effective Aug. 1, 2012, O'Connor assumed the role of treasurer for the credit union's Board.

O'Connor also holds the title of President/COO for RBFCU. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the credit union's day-to-day operations and providing leadership as RBFCU continues to grow throughout South Central Texas.

O'Connor began his career with RBFCU in 1989 as the director of internal audit. He has also held positions in mortgage lending, member service and consumer lending.

O'Connor earned bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a certified public accountant with experience at one of the largest public accounting firms in the world. He served in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour at Randolph Air Force Base.
