LIVE OAK, Texas — Christopher W. O'Connor has been named President of Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union. He will also maintain his role as chief operating officer. O'Connor will be responsible for overseeing the credit union's day-to-day operations and will provide leadership as RBFCU continues expansion and growth throughout South Central Texas.

O'Connor began his career with RBFCU in 1989 as the director of internal audit. He has also held positions in mortgage lending, member service and consumer lending.

O'Connor earned bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a certified public accountant with experience at one of the largest public accounting firms in the world. He served in the US Air Force, including a tour at Randolph Air Force Base.

Randy M. Smith will continue in the role of Chief Executive Officer for RBFCU. Smith has led the credit union for 24 years and will continue to focus on strategic planning and strengthening community outreach.
