LIVE OAK, Texas - As Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union continues to grow in the Austin community, the institution has tasked local business development leader, Mark Matthews, with additional responsibilities to strengthen the credit union's presence in the community.

Matthews was promoted to assistant vice president of business development and community relations. In this position, he will continue to build relationships with new business partners throughout the Austin region. In addition, he will lead efforts to build community awareness of RBFCU's value and serve as a local subject-matter expert on credit union activities. Matthews has been a member of the RBFCU team since 2010. Prior to joining the RBFCU team, Matthews' work experience included many years in the financial sector, specifically in mortgage lending.

Matthews has been a part of the Round Rock community since 2002. He is an active member of the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce's Momentum Group which supports local business and seeks to attract new employers to Round Rock.
