RBFCU Promotes Lockingen and Hernandez to Regional Vice Presidents of Austin

LIVE OAK, Texas - Robert Finch was recently promoted to vice president, director of Austin operations with Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU). Following his promotion, RBFCU has named two new regional vice presidents to service the Austin area – Theresa Lockingen and Gabriel Hernandez.

During the past several years, RBFCU has seen tremendous expansion in the Austin area, and as that growth continues, the credit union has continued to add to its strong leadership team.

Theresa Lockingen is now responsible for the East Austin region, which holds nine branch locations. Lockingen is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University. Lockingen is a true credit union success story, as she started with RBFCU in 2001 as a teller in Austin and has advanced through the branch operations management program. Gabriel Hernandez will be overseeing the West Austin region, which includes nine branch locations. Hernandez attended Angelo State University where he obtained his BBA in Accounting. He has been in the financial industry since 2001, and has worked in branch operations his entire career. Hernandez came to RBFCU as a senior management trainee in August 2009 and has worked at four of the credit union's Austin branches.

“Both Theresa and Gabriel have a proven track record of leadership and business acumen, and we are confident they will be able to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of our Austin operations,” said John Kelly, chief operating officer.
