Credit Union News

LIVE OAK, Texas – A local credit union provided a special delivery of holiday cheer to the residents of Boysville.

Elizabeth Kuhlmann, business development officer for RBFCU, nominated Boysville as her charity of choice this Christmas and RBFCU provided a sponsorship based on Kuhlmann's recommendation to provide toys and gifts for the residents of Boysville.

Boysville, known as the home with a heart, was founded in 1943 and provides a safe and caring place for boys and girls to live and to receive an education. The mission of RBFCU, a local credit union, is to improve members' economic well-being and quality of life; during the holiday season, and with sponsorships throughout the year, RBFCU also works to improve the lives and situations of non-profit organizations in the community.

"Because I live and work in the northeast communities, I feel a special connection with organizations like Boysville that serve our South Central Texas area," said Kuhlmann. "I'm proud to work for a credit union like RBFCU that gives back to its members and its local community."
