RANDOLPH-BROOKS EMPLOYEES MAKE HOLIDAYS BRIGHTER FOR LOCAL NON-PROFITS

LIVE OAK, Texas – Last week, Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union employees played Santa's helpers and made the holidays a little brighter for several community organizations.

The Dietert Center, Kids' Advocacy Place and K'STAR Youth and Family Services each received a charitable donation from RBFCU. The contributions were completely unexpected and unsolicited by the non-profit organizations and provided a welcome holiday surprise in the form of additional funding for their projects.

Each year, RBFCU selects non-profit organizations in its South Central Texas communities to receive special holiday contributions. These organizations are chosen based on recommendations from RBFCU employees who work in each community. The funds for the contributions are provided through the credit union's association with National Auto Care Corporation and Southwest Business Corp.

"With the difficult economic year, many organizations need additional assistance during the holidays," said Sonya McDonald, vice president of sales and marketing for RBFCU. "Providing these contributions will help the organizations to offer their beneficiaries a more hopeful holiday season or to get a great start on the new year."
