RBFCU HONORED FOR ECONOMIC IMPACT
LIVE OAK, Texas – Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union was recently recognized at the Austin-San Antonio Growth Summit for its growth and development in conjunction with the local community.
The City of Live Oak selected RBFCU as its nominee for the Economic Impact award. RBFCU's corporate headquarters is located in Live Oak and the credit union is currently adding a 137,000-square-foot addition to its campus. The credit union also plans additional expansions on the Live Oak campus in the next five to seven years.
The new location will provide space for the credit union to grow and expand its Live Oak-based workforce. The credit union currently houses about 400 employees at the corporate headquarters; the new addition will provide space to expand to approximately 1,000 employees, all of which will benefit Live Oak, as RBFCU is connected to the City of Live Oak through the many employees who live, work or do business within the community. According to senior vice president John Kelly, "The new staff members we hire will positively impact the Live Oak area as they create relationships within the community. They will frequent local restaurants and retailers, which will benefit and enrich Live Oak."
