Cassandra Garcia was recently named a 2011 partner of the year by Northside Independent School District. Garcia, who is a member of the Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union business development team, was recognized for her tireless activism on behalf of Northside ISD, both in her efforts as a member of the credit union team and as a personal volunteer.

Garcia serves as the liaison for all local school districts, building relationships with administrators, faculty and staff in order to provide them with money-saving financial products and services.

"During a time when finances and education are on everyone's mind, our staff continues to work diligently to improve the financial resources offered to our educators," said Sonya McDonald, senior vice president of market development for RBFCU. "Cassandra's strong relationships with our local school districts, particularly Northside ISD, allow us to create financial opportunities for educators during these turbulent economic times."

Garcia has more than 15 years experience in building relationships with local businesses, school districts and community organizations.
