Austin's Fastest-Growing Credit Union Reaches Milestone

LIVE OAK, Texas - The fastest-growing credit union in Austin has reached another major milestone. Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) recently welcomed its 100,000th member in Austin.

In 2013, RBFCU added four new branches. During the past five years, RBFCU's Austin operations have grown by 10 branches and added more than 55,000 members. In addition, RBFCU has seen tremendous increases in deposits and loans, as well as total assets.

"People have recognized credit unions as an important tool to build and maintain their financial well-being," said Mark Matthews, RBFCU AVP of Business Development and Community Relations. "The Austin market knows the value that we provide both of which have helped fuel growth for RBFCU in Austin."

During the past year, the credit union's Austin area deposits have grown by 16 percent; loan balances have grown by 23 percent; and membership has grown by 22 percent.
