Where can I get a WILL?

A will should be drafted by a legal professional. Most legal services will ask you to complete a specific questionnaire from which they will draft your will. There are also online services that can do this for you, as well as software packages you can purchase to do it yourself. Be careful, though. Some do-it-yourself wills are not valid in all states.

The best way to find a legal expert is to ask for references from people you trust. Your financial advisor most likely will have references for you, as well. Some employer-sponsored Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) also offer free legal services.

If you exhaust all of these options, check with your local Chamber of Commerce, in your local yellow pages, or with specialty groups like AARP.
