Interview Preparations

There are several practical things you can do to ensure your job interviews go well. Remember that everyone has to interview, so try not to be too nervous!

  • Practice! Practicing by yourself and with others will boost your self-esteem and relieve some of the butterflies associated with interviews.
  • Research. By researching the company, not only will you be better prepared to answer questions, you may also develop questions of your own to ask the interviewer.
  • Dress for Success. As you prepare for the interview, select clothing and accessories that enhance your appearance, without seeming overwhelming. By presenting a neat, organized image, you are more likely to be taken seriously and be seen as a professional.
