Credit Union News

A new football team isn't the only exciting new offering for those connected with the University of Texas at San Antonio. Students, faculty and staff are now eligible for membership with Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union.

Because you are required to qualify for credit union membership, local businesses, school systems and community organizations can apply to become select groups (SGs) with local credit unions. These organizations may choose to become SGs in order to provide additional benefits to their employees or other individuals associated with their field of business.

Once an organization becomes an SG, anyone who is associated may qualify for membership. In the case of UTSA, all students, staff and faculty members, along with their immediate family members, are eligible to receive all the benefits associated with RBFCU membership.

"We offer valuable products and services to each of our Select Groups," said Sonya McDonald, senior vice president of market development. "From cash back checking to low rate auto loans to convenient online and mobile services, our products appeal to consumers across the board and we're excited to bring these benefits to another sector of our South Central Texas community."

If you're part of the UTSA family, you can join RBFCU today!

For those not affiliated with the university, RBFCU offers more than 2,000 ways to join; you can even qualify based on where you live, work attend school or worship. Local organizations interested in becoming RBFCU select groups and offering additional benefits to their members or employees may contact the RBFCU Business Development department for additional information.
